A water based, waterproofing agent for cement based products, especially concrete, pressed blockwork, pavers and natural stone. Sealer 101 is primarily a water proofing agent designed to prevent moisture seeping through the substrate. It is a natural look sealer. It will not change the appearance of the surface to which it is applied. Sealer 101 will not effect the slip resistance, as it resides below the surface, providing protection against foodstuffs and airborne pollutants; and waterproofing protection for cement based products including terracotta pots and planters. Sealer 101 is not designed for use as a positive waterproof membrane or where water is free flowing. When cured it can be overcoated with conventional paints. Available in 5 & 20 Litre containers.

Directions for use

A two coat application, wet on wet, will give sufficient protection, provided application guidelines are met. Power wash surfaces to be treated (where possible). Remove stains caused by oil, grease and soils with the recommended Miteq cleaner. Surface may be damp, but excess water must be removed from the surface prior to application. Apply using a brush, roller or low pressure spray. Do not apply excessively or allow the sealer to pool on the surface. Always test a small area prior to commencement to ascertain the effect of the sealer on the surface. Terracotta pots can be treated by dunking in a solution of Sealer 101 or by coating with a brush or roller. Do not use above 30°C or below 10°C or if rain is imminent. Use material directly from container. Do not dilute. The sealed surface will be suitable for foot traffic after 24 hours. Do not wash down for 48 hours following application. Coverage will depend on surface porosity. 2m2/litre on very porous surfaces and 5m2/litre on dense surfaces as a guide. Shelf Life - 12 months in unopened containers. Read all warnings.
